Each year ibidPREP works with 100+ students to help them get into Specialized High Schools across NYC. Our one-on-one work and all our courses are honed to the test and the young teenage mind, and we get them through it all with flying colors!

However you wish to work, ibidPREP has one-on-one tutoring and a variety of classes to fit your needs:

Spring/Fall Math Intensive—for bright, able students who may never had grasped certain math basics and/or whose schools may not offer the most advanced math curricula 
Spring/Fall Weekly Courses—Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, these courses run once a week through the end of school in the spring and resume in the fall at the start of school. Students are given Summer Binder to keep their minds active during the break in classes.
Summer Intensives—Five days per week for two weeks, these classes offer our full SHSAT course over just two weeks. Three tests included.
Fall Twice Weekly Course—Same as our Spring/Fall course but starting at the beginning of school for 8th graders and running twice a week through to the actual SHSAT.
Fall Sunday Course—Our full SHSAT course covered in longer classes over all available Sundays prior to the real thing.
Fall Sunday Refreseher Course—Perfect for students from our Summer Intensives. This brief course gets students back up to speed just in time for the real thing.

One-on-One

All  instructors, including Stuart Servetar, are available to work one-on-one with your student.

Our Associate Tutors are gifted educators who excel at engaging, caring for and motivating their students. They hail from top universities and most have or are working towards advanced degrees. 

All Associate Tutor work is supervised directly by Stuart Servetar.

Tutors will meet with your student in our offices or at your home—whatever works best. There is no extra charge for in-home visits, but an adult must be home at the time of the session.

Generally speaking, we recommend one hour sessions for all one-on-one work with students from the 4th through 7th grades, with the exception of the Hunter test. For the Hunter test, 1.5 hours sessions are often recommended.

Sessions of 1.5 hours are recommended for the SHSATs, ACTs and SATs. Most SAT Subject Tests and academic support can be done in one hour sessions.  

 

Students may work with tutors on an hourly, pay-as-you-go basis or purchase packages of hours in advance. Packages of hours for general tutoring are discounted as below.
